    Phase One Environmental Site Assessment

Make sure your property gels with the environment

What is a Phase One Environmental Site Assessment?

A Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment (or "ESA") is a type of property inspection that assesses the environmental impact of the current or past use of the property- specifically, the impact on the soil and groundwater beneath the property. The potential cost of such environmental issues could be significant for the property owner, and the ESA is meant to indentify such liabilites in advance of a real estate transaction for the buyer and/or lender.
